Inspiration ForA New Real Estate Entrepreneur Just Starting Out Looking To Make A Killing Buying An Investment Property.Imagine, for a moment that you are a new real estate entrepreneur just starting out looking to make a killing on an investment property. Don't let them tell you "what you cannot do". It is only natural when you start a business in real estate or any other business for that matter. You are doing something different "starting your own business" when most people just sit there ,do nothing, and wait for a bag of money to fall from the sky.
Some people have a really bad habit of telling others what they can and cannot do. They treat you as if you're attempting something impossible, but human nature will cause people to naturally ridicule what you are doing. They will tell you all kinds of things to discourage you like: Don't let that happen to you, you can accomplish anything if you put your heart, soul and mind in it and move forward. You too can becoming a real estate entrepreneur it is not about having lots of cool ideas or reading a pile of real estate books, guides, and all of the information you can digest. It's about having "GUTS" and hanging in there and getting out there and talking to sellers. You must have confidence in yourself, in your ability, and with a determination second to none. You must also be willing to "pick yourself up, ,dust yourself off and keep stepping. You must continue to strive toward your ultimate goal and you'll be a WINNER!. You may have to start over again, and again, and again to make it happen and you will succeed. 
This takes me back several years ago when I was a teen. I used to be concerned about how "everybody" felt about me especially the teenage boys. I would spent lots of time and effort to look my very best in hopes that everyone would like me. Every single time one of the boys said that they didn't like for instance; my dress, I would run into the house and change into another dress and then rush back for approval. If he said, I don't like the color of my blouse or anything I wore for that matter. I would do an about face and change to something else every time. It didn't take much I would change my shoes, the length of my skirt, the color of my socks anything I would run in the house and change just to please ... "please him or appease them" it was ridiculous. Then one day one of the boys by the name of Preston said to me ... "you know you can't please everyone and it doesn't matter what you wear, do ,or say there will always be someone who will disapprove". Why waste your valuable time on them? If you keep this up you'll be changing all day long". He also said that "you only need to be concerned with pleasing yourself, frankly, I think you look "just fine". I realized that Preston was right and that was the day I ceased catering to people.
Soon after that I developed a "Brand New Attitude"and I can remember an old saying that... "Man is the only creature that can reshape or remold his destiny simple by altering his attitude" - Unknown "Who cares what these people think? I realized that as long as I live, I only need to please God, myself and mine and thats all I care about anymore and you should feel the same way. It doesn't matter what they say or think about you or your actions. You are the keeper of your destiny. How's that? So I said that to say this... don't let them tell you what you can or cannot do you need only to please YOURSELF! Be amazed at what you "CAN DO" and get out there and just do it now! Let me suggest you try real hard and if that doesn't work Be Like AVIS and "Try Harder" If you fail it would be only because you really didn't TRY! If I can do it YOU can too!
Now getting back to business "Inspiration for a newbie real estate entrepreneur" just starting out and looking forward to "Your First Time" buying an investment property" you should keep in mind that its a numbers game.All you have to do is start out small, take your time and study if things go wrong the best thing to do is to swallow your pride, admit you screwed up, get over it , move forward, and face it head on. You might find many failures before you experience complete success. If you're tired of living from paycheck to paycheck it's time to jump in with both feet.Remember, take care of today's cash flow needs before worrying about hitting the Big Time. Be concerned about your family first, keep your family fed and your financial obligations met but look forward to the day when you will succeed with your new real estate venture. It's time for you to take control your own financial future and start to make thing happen... its up to you. Many real estate investors I know are making a great living and others are doing exceptionally well. You can too.! Again,learn the ropes, find out how and where to buy and sell your properties. It may take you awhile to learn the ins and outs of the real estate investing business, but it's worth it and you'll be smiling all the way to the bank. Give yourself enough time to absorb the enormous amount of real estate information get the free reports, free ebooks, there is mountains of free information on the Net ... take advantage of all of that. Let me just suggest a beginning point for you. If I were just starting out in the real estate investing business today I would bet my last dollar on Lease Options. Start investigating "lease option deals" - look for nice houses in nice neighborhoods in all price ranges. This is where the real money is not with the fixer-uppers. For them you'll need too much money to "fix up" and too many people such as contractors that you'll need to depend on to do that work. p>That's the beginners mistake,too often newbies make the mistake in using the wrong types of property to build their wealth. To begin with a fixer-upper will not make you RICH! So be smart start with Lease Options.
